Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

Orders placed on Monday thru Thursday (before 6 PM), are usually prepared that day and shipped the next day. Orders received on Friday and the weekend are usually shipped on Monday, and for holidays, the day after.

Where is my licorice shipped from?

Licorice is shipped from Kitchener, Ontario

What shipping carrier do you use?

We ship most packages via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is delivered to Canada Post (usually within 24 hours of submitting your order), you will receive an email confirming your order was shipped and include a tracking number and a link for you to track your package. Please use your regular email address so you receive the tracking. Double check your junk mail or if you do not receive the tracking email.

I didn’t receive my order.

Please check the address you entered when placing the order. Then contact support@licoricecrave.ca with your order number and we’ll try and help you find it.

How long will it take to receive?

After your order is picked up by Canada Post, Expedited Parcel delivery times are estimated to be: - Local 1 business day - Regional 1 to 3 business days - National 2 to 7 business days Licorice Crave can’t guarantee the exact time an order will be delivered as factors such as location, holidays, time of year, weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances (COVID) can affect your delivery date.

What is the cost of shipping?

We offer $5 flat rate shipping* on licorice orders (not gift boxes) of $80 or more, after any coupons are applied, but before shipping and taxes. For licorice orders under $80, shipping cost is based on your order’s total weight and the destination. We only charge you what Canada Post charges us.😊 For Gift Box orders, shipping cost is based on your order’s total weight and your destination. We only charge you what Canada Post charges us. *Remote Locations: the following postal code prefixes are not eligible for free shipping. We are charging a flat rate shipping charge of $10 for orders over $80, which is a substantial discount on the actual cost. Do you ship outside Canada?

We ship across Canada only.

Can I exchange or return my licorice or candy?

Because licorice and candy is perishable, we are not able to accept returns. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us by email at support@licoricecrave.ca.

My Order

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept any credit or debit card with a MasterCard, Visa, American Express Logo, and PayPal.

Can I cancel an order or change my order?

Your order can’t be cancelled after it has been placed. If you want to change your order, we will attempt to do so. Please contact us ASAP. Orders are processed promptly once you have submitted your order. Once the shipping label is created for the order, we may not be able to change the order.

Do you have retail stores, and can I pick up my order?

We are an online store only. Sorry.

Does Licorice Crave have a newsletter and how do I sign-up?

We send out our newsletter periodically and include special offers, new products news, contests, candy profiles and other interesting information. Licorice Crave will not share your information with third parties, sign up with the form in the footer.

What happens if the item I ordered is out of stock?

We try to have the online inventory accurate always. In the event a candy is out of stock after you have submitted your order, Licorice Crave will inform you within hours. You will be given the option of having the rest of your order shipped and receiving a refund for the out-of-stock licorice/candy or choosing a substitution.

Gifts, Corporate Giving & Large Orders

If I want to buy a large amount of licorice for a special event, do I get a discount?

You certainly will get a discount. If you have a large event, corporate giving, wedding etc., please contact us at support@licoricecrave.ca with the details and we will work out a quote that satisfies your requirements.

For corporate giving, can you send orders/gifts to multiple addresses from a single ?

We certainly can. If you make an order for multiple boxes going to different addresses, just put it in the Notes section of the order, or just email us at support@licoricecrave.ca and we'll take care of you.

Coupons

How do I use a coupon, promo code or gift certificate?

To redeem your code, just enter it in the appropriate box during checkout and it will be applied to your order. Please note that promo codes cannot be combined. Only one promo code may be used at a time and may not be combined with any other offer. For help please contact support@licoricecrave.ca.

My coupon, promo code or gift certificate is not working.

If you are having problems with your promo code, try checking that your subtotal meets the minimum amount to use the code (before tax and shipping charges are added) and check the dates the code is valid. Please contact us at support@licoricecrave.ca if you need further help.

General Questions

Do you make the candy?

No, we purchase licorice directly from quality manufacturers, distributors, and importers.

Do you sell wholesale?

It is not our focus, but we do occasionally. Contact us at support@licoricecrave.ca.

Are Licorice Crave candies kosher?

Several of our candies contain kosher ingredients, we are not kosher certified.

Do your cocktail gummies contain alcohol?

Some cocktail gummies, like our prosecco bears may have alcohol in the ingredients however any actual alcohol content is cooked out during the candy making process and is perfectly safe for consumption by minors.

Can we suggest/request candies not on your website?

Yes! We are always on the lookout for new and interesting licorice. Shoot us an email support@licoricecrave.ca.

How long will my licorice stay fresh after it arrives?

After individual pouches are opened (they are resealable), licorice will have a 4-to-6-week shelf life. Unopened bags will last for many months. We recommend safely storing your licorice in a cool, dry place around 18–22C (65-72F), away from direct heat or sunlight.

I can’t remember my password to access my account?

If you have forgotten your password, go to your account, and click, "forgot password". Make sure to enter the email address you used to setup your account. If you can’t remember your email, email us at support@licoricecrave.ca and include your name and address and we’ll reply via the email address you originally used to sign up and you can reset your password.

Allergies

I have an allergy, how can I find out if your candies are right for me?

Each of our individual licorice pages includes ingredients and nutrition facts information. If you have a severe allergy, we recommend you avoid our licorice and candy. Our packaging facility handles candies that contain milk, soy, wheat, peanuts, nuts, and tree nuts. We do our best to sterilize our production surfaces, however, there may be traces of these allergens in any candy or licorice.
